The Black Canyon Backgammon Set combines highly figured natural wood with deep black epoxy resin in a bold handcrafted design. Flowing resin lines run through the light wooden surface, creating a dramatic contrast that continues across both the exterior and interior of the board.

The natural grain, knots and burl-like patterns remain clearly visible throughout the set, giving every handcrafted board its own individual character.

Natural Wood & Black Epoxy Resin

The board is crafted from natural wood and epoxy resin. The warm, highly textured wooden sections are intersected by smooth black resin, emphasizing the organic shapes and irregular patterns of the timber.

Because natural wood is used in the construction, variations in grain, knots, texture and pattern are part of the design and make each board visually unique.

Hand-Finished Surface

The wooden surface is carefully sanded and treated with wax oil to highlight the natural grain and create a smooth tactile finish. A protective lacquer coating provides additional resistance to everyday wear and helps preserve the appearance of the board.

50 cm Folding Backgammon Board

The set measures 50 × 50 cm when opened and folds to 50 × 25 cm for convenient storage. The playing area measures approximately 42 × 39 cm, providing comfortable space for a full game of backgammon.
