The Golden Islands Backgammon Set combines richly textured natural wood with deep dark epoxy resin in a distinctive handcrafted design. Irregular sections of golden-toned wood appear against the resin like islands, creating an expressive pattern across both the exterior and playing surface.

The natural grain, knots and organic edges of the wood make every board visually unique, while the 50 cm format provides a comfortable playing area for regular games.

Natural Wood & Dark Epoxy Resin

The board is handcrafted from natural wood and epoxy resin. Highly figured sections of timber preserve their original grain and organic shapes, while the dark resin fills the spaces between them and creates a strong contrast with the warm wooden tones.

Natural variations in grain, texture, knots and edges are part of the character of the material, so no two handcrafted sets have exactly the same appearance.

Hand-Finished Surface

The wooden elements are carefully sanded and treated with wax oil to emphasize the natural texture and provide a smooth tactile surface. A protective lacquer finish helps preserve the appearance of the board and provides additional resistance to everyday wear and scratches.

50 cm Magnetic Folding Board

The board measures 50 × 50 cm when opened and 50 × 25 cm when folded. Magnets integrated into the corners help keep the two halves securely closed during storage and transportation.
